‘The Penguin’: HBO Max Series Casts Cristin Milioti As Sofia Falcone

Cristin Milioti has joined Colin Farrell in the upcoming Penguin series from HBO Max.

According to Variety, Cristin Milioti has boarded the cast of The Penguin, the upcoming Batman spin-off from the WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max. Milioti has signed on to play Sofia Falcone, the show’s female lead character.

The daughter of the infamous Gotham mob boss Carmine Falcone, a.ka. “The Roman,” Sofia was created by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale. She made her first appearance in the pages of the critically-acclaimed DC Comics series Batman: The Long Halloween, which was published between 1996 and 1997. Loeb and Sale then brought her back for Batman: Dark Victory.
