James Gunn has revealed that DC Studios was not involved in the cancellations of Titans and Doom Patrol.
Titans and Doom Patrol are coming to and end after four seasons on the DC Universe application and the WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max, but DC Studios had nothing to do with the decision. Titans and Doom Patrol were axed before James Gunn and Peter Safran took charge of DC Studios, according to a Twitter post from the former.
“The decision to end the series precedes us,” James Gunn wrote on Twitter. “But I certainly wish the best for the talented group of creators, actors, and the rest of the crew that produced both shows.”
